SAMA’s Data Center Facility Receives Triple Sustainability Certificates

On December 5, 2024, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) obtained the "TIER IV Gold" rating from the Uptime Institute for its data center building, SAMA KAFD DC, located at King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh. The building achieved three certificates covering the design phase, the implementation phase, and the operational sustainability phase. TIER IV Gold is described as one of the highest ratings for operational reliability of data centers, based on standards assessing cooling and power supply continuity and environmental responsibility.
