SAMA Launches Enhanced Regulatory Sandbox Service on Website

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) launched an enhanced "Regulatory Sandbox" service via its electronic services portal, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen enablement in the financial sector and support innovators developing financial solutions. The service aims to improve the experience of regulatory sandbox applicants through integrated electronic steps and an enhanced mechanism for submitting and tracking applications. SAMA stated the launch supports companies and financial institutions in accessing the regulatory sandbox more efficiently and enhancing growth of the Kingdom's fintech sector.
