SAMA Hosts the Annual Meetings of IFSB

البنك المركزي السعودي يستضيف الاجتماعات السنوية لمجلس الخدمات المالية الإسلامية

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) hosted the annual meetings of the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) from 14 to 16 August 2023 in Riyadh, chaired by SAMA Governor Ayman bin Mohammed Al-Sayari as IFSB Council Chairman. The meetings included the 42nd meeting of the IFSB Council and the 21st General Assembly meeting for 2023, alongside a workshop on banking sector capacity building and a ceremony marking IFSB's 20th anniversary. SAMA is a founding member of IFSB per Council of Ministers Resolution No. 181 dated 16/07/1423 AH.
