Saudi Accreditation and the National Center for Environmental Compliance Supervision sign a memorandum of cooperation

The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) and the National Center for Environmental Compliance signed a memorandum of cooperation on Thursday, September 14, 2023. This memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in the field of environmental accreditation and environmental standards. It also reflects both entities' understanding of the critical importance of environmental protection and the necessity of strengthening environmental compliance across all sectors. SAAC was represented at the signing by the CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid, while the National Center for Environmental Compliance was represented by its CEO, Eng. Ali Al-Ghamdi. For his part, the CEO of SAAC emphasized the center's commitment to building bridges of cooperation and integration with all relevant sectors to strengthen the quality infrastructure in the Kingdom. He added that the strategic cooperation between SAAC and the National Center for Environmental Compliance will contribute to enhancing the quality and credibility of conformity assessment services in the Kingdom's environmental sector and will bolster the role of accreditation and quality in achieving sustainable environmental development.
