The Forensic Toxicology Services Department at the Riyadh Forensic Medical Services Center has achieved a significant milestone for the Ministry of Health, having received accreditation from the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC). This accreditation recognizes the department's successful implementation of the accreditation standards set by the Central Board and its successful completion of the evaluation process, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025. The department is the first healthcare facility within the Ministry to achieve this distinction. This accreditation reflects the department's strategy of rigorously adhering to the highest standards of quality management and development, and its commitment to ensuring the efficiency of its testing and calibration laboratories for forensic toxicology examinations. The accreditation also underscores the Ministry of Health's dedication to leveraging all available resources to enhance and improve healthcare services across its facilities, aligning with the initiatives of the Health Transformation Program.
