The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) at the university’s headquarters in Dhahran. The MoU, signed by the CEO Dr. Adel Alkeaid and the Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ali Al-Sheikhi, aims to enhance cooperation between the two entities in the fields of quality and accreditation. It also seeks to provide accreditation services to the university’s laboratories, exchange expertise, organize training programs to qualify technicians, and foster collaboration in the fields of research, development, and innovation, as well as exchanging experiences, knowledge, and emerging and modern technologies.
