SAAC Celebrates World Accreditation Day 2025 Under the Theme: "Accreditation: Empowering SMEs in Saudi Arabia"

The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) organized a special event to celebrate World Accreditation Day 2025, observed annually on June 9th. This year’s theme, "Accreditation: Empowering SMEs in Saudi Arabia," was marked in the presence of several Excellencies, representatives from the public and private sectors, and experts in the fields of quality and accreditation. The event commenced with a keynote speech by the CEO Dr. Adel bin Abdulrahman bin Alkeaid, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the vital role of accreditation in empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), facilitating their market access, and enhancing their competitiveness and product quality. The program featured a series of presentations by a group of specialists who highlighted experiences and initiatives that support the quality infrastructure and strengthen the empowerment of enterprises across various sectors. At the conclusion of the event, the participating speakers were honored in recognition of their contributions to enriching the session's discussions and promoting dialogue on the importance of accreditation as a strategic tool for sustainable growth. The Saudi Accreditation Center is the national authority officially authorized to provide accreditation services for conformity assessment bodies in the Kingdom and to elevate their competence, contributing to the enhancement of the quality infrastructure and supporting the Kingdom's economy and prosperity. The Center aims to boost confidence in products and services, support the safety and quality of market offerings, and enable economic sectors to compete locally and internationally, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
