“Saudi Accreditation” announces a package of training programs for the third and fourth quarter of the current year 2023 AD

The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) announced a package of training programs in the fields of laboratory accreditation, inspection bodies, and certification bodies, to be offered during the third and fourth quarters of 2023. SAAC aims to equip assessors, experts, and specialists with the specialized knowledge, skills, techniques, and tools necessary to comply with the requirements of international standards in each area of accreditation. The SAAC training programs cover a range of international standards, including those related to risk management (ISO 31000:2018), inspection bodies (ISO/IEC 17020:2012), testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025:2017), and medical laboratories (ISO/IEC 15189:2022). Additionally, there is a specialized program explaining the general methodology for assessing measurement uncertainty in testing and calibration laboratories, and another explaining the principles and applications of auditing guidelines for management systems according to the international standard ISO 19011:2018. It is worth noting that capacity building is one of the center's strategic pillars, as it works to raise the level of technical expertise in the fields of accreditation and quality by offering specialized, high-quality training programs to develop the skills of assessors, experts, and practitioners, thus contributing to strengthening the quality infrastructure in the Kingdom.
