SAAC Participates in World Metrology Day Forum 2026

The Saudi Accreditation Center participated in the World Metrology Day Forum 2026 , held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and organized by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, under the theme: “Measurements: Building Confidence in Policymaking.” The forum brought together a number of entities concerned with the metrology, calibration, and quality ecosystem. SAAC’s participation included an introductory booth that showcased to forum visitors the role of Saudi accreditation in supporting the metrology and calibration ecosystem, enhancing the competence of conformity assessment bodies, and improving the quality of outputs in accordance with recognized international standards. In addition, Eng. Saleh Al-Zahrani, General Manager of Inspection Bodies Accreditation at SAAC, delivered a presentation entitled: “The Role of the Saudi Accreditation Center in Supporting the Activities of the Taqyees Program.” The presentation highlighted the role of accreditation in supporting the metrology and calibration ecosystem and enhancing the competence of conformity assessment bodies, thereby contributing to improving the quality of outputs and services provided to beneficiaries. At the conclusion of SAAc's participation, His Excellency the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization honored the CEO of SAAC in recognition of the efforts and contribution to the success of the forum, as well as its role in strengthening partnerships with relevant entities within the metrology and calibration ecosystem.
