REGA: Thursday Marks End of Title Registration Period for 12 Neighborhoods in Riyadh City

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that Thursday, 31 October 2024 (28 Rabi Al-Thani 1446 Hijri) marks the deadline for the first phase of real estate title registration in 12 named neighborhoods in Riyadh City. Owners must complete registration via the electronic Real Estate Registry Platform to benefit from transaction execution services and issuance of a Property Number and Title Registration Deed. REGA stated that failing to register within the announced timeframe may subject owners to financial penalties under the Law of Real Estate Registration, determined by a specialized violations committee, though applications will continue to be accepted after the deadline.
