REGA: Documentation of 8 Million Contracts on the Ejar Platform

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that lease contracts documented through the "Ejar" platform have exceeded 8 million since launch, comprising more than 6.6 million residential and over 1.3 million commercial contracts. In 2023, the platform recorded its highest annual volume with over 2.8 million contracts documented, and a peak single-day rate of 18,000 contracts. REGA said the figures reflect growing confidence in Ejar and its features, which include document/deed verification, digital contracting approved with the Ministry of Justice, a rental index, and electronic payment via Mada and SADAD.
