The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) launched a draft law on real estate unit subdivision, ownership, and common area management via the "Istitlaa" platform, seeking feedback from government entities, the private sector, and the public. The draft covers definitions, ownership rights and obligations, subdivision and registration procedures, compensation for expropriating common ownership, regulation of owners' associations, and a new chapter on common facility management, including penalties for violations.
