REGA CEO: 1.3 Million Real Estate Maps Corrected Since Launch of Real Estate Registry

REGA CEO Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, speaking at the opening of the Al-Qassim Real Estate Forum, said 18 legislative instruments — including the Law of Real Estate Registration — have led to the correction of more than 1.3 million real estate maps. Since title registration launched on 7 May 2023, it has covered more than 70 districts in Riyadh totaling 617,622 land plots, and has also begun in Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Region. He announced the Real Estate Registry launch in Al-Qassim starting Sunday, 1 Muharram (7 July 2024), targeting registration of over 380,000 plots by the end of the year, with the rest in 2025.
