The third edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2025, organized by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) under the theme "Real Estate of the Future," ran in Doha from 12 to 14 October 2025, with Saudi Arabia as guest of honor. Saudi participation included the Minister of Municipalities and Housing and Chairman of REGA's Board, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and REGA's CEO, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad. Al-Hogail noted that six Saudi cities rank among the top 100 smart cities worldwide and that Saudi Arabia's Urban Identity encompasses 19 architectural styles, while Al-Hammad noted the Kingdom is the second-fastest improving country globally in the Real Estate Transparency Index and cited the Law on Real Estate Ownership by Non-Saudis, coming into effect in early 2026, and the "Ejar" platform's digital documentation of more than 13 million lease contracts.
