REGA: Thursday Marks End of Property Registration Period in Real Estate Registry for 40 Neighborhoods in Eastern Region

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the first-time real estate title registration period for 40 neighborhoods in the Eastern Region — 26 in Dammam City and 14 in Al-Khobar Governorate — ends Thursday, 6 February 2025, corresponding to 7 Sha'ban 1446 AH. REGA urged owners to register via the Real Estate Registry Platform (rer.sa), noting each registered unit receives a Property Number and Title Registration Deed, and that failure to register within the timeframe may subject owners to financial penalties under the Law of Real Estate Registration, though applications will still be accepted after the deadline.
