REGA Announces Start of Real Estate Registration in 7 Areas Across Riyadh and Makkah

الهيئة العامة للعقار تُعلن انطلاق التسجيل العيني للعقار في 7 مناطق بالرياض ومكة المكرمة

REGA announced the start of real estate registration on Sunday, 18 Dhul Qi'dah 1445 AH, corresponding to 26 May 2024, in 7 areas covering 18 districts across Riyadh and Makkah, with registration continuing until 25 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to 29 August 2024. The Riyadh districts include Al-Mahdiyah, Al-Khuzama, Arqah, Zahrat Laban, Al-Safarat, Namar, Al-Marwah, Shabra, Badr, and Al-Shifa; the Makkah districts include parts of Al-Safwah, Dar Al-Salam, and Al-Hijrah, and the Dakher, Masar Makkah Project Section One, and Jabal Omar projects. REGA urged owners in these districts to verify their title deeds—including holding an updated electronic deed from the Ministry of Justice with complete ownership data—and to register via the Real Estate Registry Platform, noting that a title registration deed will be issued for each registered unit.
