REGA: Property Registration Deadline for 23 Neighborhoods in Makkah Region Ends Next Thursday

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the deadline for first real estate title registration in 23 neighborhoods in Makkah Region ends Thursday, 13 Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to 13 March 2025. REGA urged owners in the listed neighborhoods to register through the Real Estate Registry Platform before the deadline to obtain a Property Number and Title Registration Deed. REGA said failure to register within the specified period exposes owners to financial penalties under the Real Estate Registration Law, determined by a specialized violations committee, though registration applications continue to be accepted afterward.
