Thursday Marks the End of Property Registration Period in the Real Estate Registry for 58 Neighborhoods in Riyadh City and Al-Muzahimiya and Al-Diriyah Governorates

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the deadline for first real estate title registration expires at the end of Thursday, 13 February 2025 (14 Sha'ban 1446 Hijri), covering 22 neighborhoods in Riyadh City, 25 in Al-Muzahimiya Governorate, and 11 in Al-Diriyah Governorate. Property owners were urged to register via the Real Estate Registry Platform (rer.sa) to obtain a Property Number and Title Registration Deed. REGA stated that failure to register within the deadline exposes owners to financial penalties under the Law of Real Estate Registration, determined by a specialized committee reviewing violations, though registration applications will remain open even after the deadline.
