REGA: Property Registration Deadline for 158 Neighborhoods in Riyadh City, Madinah, and Eastern Region Ends This Thursday

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the deadline for first real estate title registration for 158 neighborhoods (37 in Riyadh City, 119 in the Eastern Region including Dammam, Al-Khobar, and Qatif, and parts of neighborhoods in Madinah) ends on Thursday, 27 February 2025. REGA urged owners to register via the Real Estate Registry Platform (rer.sa) before the deadline to benefit from services such as executing transactions and documenting property changes, noting that the Register will issue a Property Number and Title Registration Deed containing the property's location, owner details, and associated rights. REGA reaffirmed that failure to register within the specified deadline will expose property owners to financial [consequences, as stated in the announcement decision].
