In the presence of HRH Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), in cooperation with the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and the Holy Capital Municipality, announced the launch of "Real Estate Registry" operations in the Makkah Region, dividing the region into real estate zones with additional areas to be announced later based on data readiness. REGA established the Law of Real Estate Registration under a Cabinet decision to enhance ownership reliability and create a comprehensive registry assigning each property a unique property number and a title registration deed (real estate sheet). Initial registration is provided free of charge via the electronic Real Estate Registry platform and requires an up-to-date electronic deed from the Ministry of Justice, a valid identity document, and a power of attorney if submitted by a representative.
