Joint field teams from the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) and Hail Region Municipality conducted more than 50 supervisory tours of real estate establishments to monitor compliance with the Real Estate Brokerage Law, as part of ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and REGA. Violations found included practicing brokerage without a required license, offering services without proof of ownership or usage rights, and failing to register or deposit brokerage contracts on the designated electronic platform. REGA stated that penalties may include official warnings, license suspension or revocation, and financial fines, which may be doubled if the same violation is repeated within three years.
