REGA Conducts 22 Joint Inspection Tours in July to Ensure Compliance in the Real Estate Market

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, conducted 22 joint inspection tours in July covering 399 real estate establishments to ensure compliance with real estate legislation, particularly the Real Estate Brokerage Law. REGA's inspection teams also carried out 13,944 regulatory audits of advertising boards and offices, identifying violations such as practicing brokerage without a license, failing to verify information, and not displaying license details in advertisements; it received 1,227 real estate reports and conducted over 22,531 electronic scanning operations. REGA warned that violations may result in warnings, license suspension, license revocation, or fines of up to SR 200,000, and it encouraged reporting via its platform or the number 199011.
