The Chairman of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, affirmed that the launch of Saudi PropTech marks a significant leap for the real estate sector, enabling real estate technologies to deliver enhanced products and services and improve the beneficiary experience. REGA aims, through organizing specialized exhibitions and conferences such as Saudi PropTech, to stimulate real estate activities, attract investment, and open new markets that diversify national income sources. Al-Hammad stated that REGA is committed to integrating real estate technology projects into real estate legislation and regulatory frameworks in support of digital transformation, and that PropTech is expected to become a primary source of real estate investment opportunities and a fundamental pillar of future real estate projects in the Kingdom.
