REGA: Thursday Marks End of Property Registration Period in Real Estate Registry for 17 Neighborhoods in Riyadh and Al-Diriyah

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the first-time real estate title registration deadline for 4 neighborhoods in Riyadh City and 13 neighborhoods in Al-Diriyah Governorate ends on Thursday, 30 January 2025, corresponding to 30 Rajab 1446 Hijri. REGA urged property owners to complete registration via the Real Estate Registry Platform (rer.sa) before the deadline to access transaction execution and documentation services. REGA confirmed that failing to register within the timeframe may subject owners to financial penalties under the Law of Real Estate Registration, determined by a specialized violations committee, though applications will continue to be accepted afterward in previously announced regions.
