REGA’s Chairman Meets with Key Stakeholders on Real Estate Registry and German Real Estate Regulations in Munich

The Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, held meetings in Munich with key figures in the German real estate regulatory sector, including Dr. Thomas Ermer, President of the Bavarian Ministry of Justice, and Harald Welsch from the Criminal Court, as well as the President of the Munich Chamber of Commerce (IHK), Mr. Fritsch. Discussions covered land registration strategies, electronic registration methods, geospatial data, digital indicators, and their influence on global indices such as the International Property Rights Index (IPRI) and the Global Real Estate Transparency Index (GRETI). The parties explored cooperation opportunities in real estate documentation and regulatory systems, while Chamber representatives expressed admiration for Saudi Arabia's achievements in real estate legislation, brokerage, and off-plan sale regulations. REGA is also participating in the EXPO REAL exhibition in Munich alongside the National Housing Company, Real Estate Registry Company, and the WAFI program.
