REGA: Thursday Marks End of Property Registration Period in Real Estate Registry for 6 Districts in Madinah

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the deadline for the first phase of real estate title registration for six districts in Madinah — part of King Fahd District, part of Al-Aqoul District, part of Jamma Umm Khalid District, Railway District, part of Al-Khadra District, and part of Abiar Al-Mashi District — falls at the end of Thursday, 3 October 2024, corresponding to 30 Rabi' Al-Awwal 1446 AH. REGA urged property owners in these districts to register through the electronic Real Estate Registry Platform before the deadline to access property transaction services and documentation. Failure to register within the specified period may result in financial penalties as outlined in the Law of Real Estate Registration, with penalties determined by a designated committee.
