Rental Index: Over 294,000 Transactions Recorded in September

The Real Estate General Authority's Rental Index recorded more than 294,000 residential and commercial rental transactions in September 2023, covering over 160 cities and governorates across the Kingdom, based on data from the electronic rental services network Ejar in integration with the Sakani platform. This represents a year-on-year increase of over 22% compared to September 2022, but a decline of more than 15% compared to August 2023. Riyadh led all cities with more than 65,000 transactions, accounting for over 22% of the total, followed by Jeddah with over 37,000, then Makkah and Madinah each with approximately 13,000, and Dammam with 12,900 transactions.
