On Behalf of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Al-Hogail, REGA Chairman Opens “Ristatex Riyadh Real Estate 2025” Exhibition

On behalf of Minister of Municipalities and Housing and REGA Board Chairman Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, REGA CEO and General Supervisor of the Housing Program Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad inaugurated the "Ristatex Riyadh Real Estate 2025" Exhibition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, running until 20 February. Al-Hammad noted that over the past three years, more than 1,000 real estate developers have been qualified and 360 licenses issued for new off-plan residential projects, contributing around 200,000 housing units, and that the homeownership rate among citizens rose from 47% to 64% by the end of 2024. He added that real estate contributed 14% to the Kingdom's GDP in 2024, that construction, building, and real estate accounted for over 16% of total foreign direct investment inflows, and that the sector has generated over 500,000 job opportunities with more than 318,000 establishments operating in construction and real estate.
