The Real Estate General Authority (REGA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, conducted 18 joint inspection tours in April covering 237 real estate establishments across Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Makkah, aimed at ensuring compliance with the Real Estate Brokerage Law and Saudization requirements. Inspection teams carried out 15,443 regulatory audits of advertising boards and real estate offices, uncovering violations including unlicensed brokerage activity, failure to verify property owner information, and omission of license details in advertisements. REGA also received and resolved 666 real estate reports and conducted more than 5,236 electronic scanning operations. Penalties for non-compliance may include warnings, suspension or revocation of licenses, or financial fines of up to SAR 200,000.
