REGA completes the registration of properties in 26 neighborhoods in Mecca on Thursday.

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that the deadline for first real estate title registration for 19,239 properties across 26 neighborhoods in the Makkah region ended Thursday, 26 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to 24 April 2025. Property owners were urged to register through the Real Estate Registry Platform before the deadline to access services related to real estate transactions. REGA stated that registered units receive a Property Number and Title Registration Deed, and that failing to register within the specified period exposes owners to financial penalties under the Law of Real Estate Registration, though applications continue to be accepted after the deadline.
