REGA: Thursday Marks End of Property Registration Period in Real Estate Registry for 11 Neighborhoods in Riyadh City

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that Thursday, 5 December 2024 (4 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1446 AH) marks the deadline for first-time real estate title registration in the Real Estate Registry for 11 neighborhoods in Riyadh City, including Northern Al-Ma'zar, Al-Murabba, Al-Malaz, Al-Ulya, Al-Namouthajiya, Al-Zahra, Al-Nasiriya, Al-Mu'tamarat, Al-Dubat, Taiba, and Namar Suburb. Property owners are urged to complete registration via the electronic platform rer.sa before the deadline to access services such as real estate transaction execution and documentation of property changes. Failure to register within the announced timeframe may result in financial penalties as stipulated in the Law of Real Estate Registration, determined by a specialized committee; however, registration applications will continue to be accepted in previously announced regions after the deadline.
