No action neededAwareness

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced that a second group of seven districts in Riyadh (Al-Ghadeer, Al-Wadi, Al-Nafl, Al-Izdihaar, Al-Taawun, Al-Murooj, and Al-Masayef) will benefit from the Real Estate Registry starting 29 October 2023 (14 Rabi' Al-Thani 1445 AH), with registration continuing until 29 January 2024 (17 Rajab 1445 AH). Initial registration is free via the Real Estate Registry's electronic platform or designated service centers, and requires an updated electronic deed from the Ministry of Justice, valid identification, and a power of attorney if applying through an agent. The National Real Estate Registration Services Company ("Real Estate Registry RER") manages the Registry nationwide, assigning each property a unique "property number" and issuing a new title registration deed linked to geospatial data. Additional districts in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam will be announced progressively during the year, and property owners may contact customer service at 199002.
