Riyadh Metro was officially registered in Guinness World Records as the world's longest fully automated, driverless metro network, extending 176 kilometers. The Royal Commission for Riyadh City stated the achievement reflects the Kingdom's accelerating progress in developing modern and sustainable transport systems. The metro forms part of the capital's public transport project and comprises 6 integrated lines.
