The Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced construction of a tunnel and overpass bridges at the intersection of Al-Thamama Road with Uthman bin Affan Road, comprising an 850-meter tunnel on Al-Thamama Road and four overpass bridges with a combined length of approximately 2,000 meters. Work began on Thursday, April 16, 2026, to improve traffic flow between the two roads.
