The Royal Commission for Riyadh City has begun implementing two Riyadh Metro stations within King Saud University as part of the Red Line extension works, which aim to strengthen connectivity between key educational, medical, entertainment, and tourism destinations including Diriyah. The Commission had previously announced the award of the contract for the design, implementation, and completion of the new Red Line expansion.
