No action neededAwareness

The Public Prosecution Council, chaired by the Public Prosecutor Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'ajjab, approved the establishment of a "Tourism Prosecution" at the Public Prosecution's main headquarters and affiliated tourism prosecution offices at the Kingdom's international and regional airports. The initiative responds to rising numbers of tourists and visitors, aiming to conclude their cases quickly at air entry points in line with the law and expeditious-justice principles, consistent with tourism targets. These prosecution offices report directly to the Public Prosecutor, operate around the clock, and are staffed by qualified Public Prosecution members and assistants trained to high standards of legal competence and international treaties and conventions.
