The Public Prosecutor Chairs the Periodic Meeting of Chief Prosecutors in the Kingdom in the Tabuk Region

The Public Prosecutor, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Muajjab, chaired the periodic meeting of regional chief prosecutors, held this year in the Tabuk Region, attended by the Deputy Public Prosecutor Sheikh Shal'an bin Rajeh Al-Shal'an and assistant deputies. In his opening remarks, the Public Prosecutor highlighted the leadership's interest in developing the judicial legislative framework, citing the Civil Transactions Law issued this year as a comprehensive reference governing civil affairs. He stressed the importance of expediting case resolution, safeguarding the rights of detainees, intensifying inspection tours of prisons and detention facilities, and strengthening procedural cooperation among relevant authorities in combating organised crime. The meeting, held annually, includes review of performance reports and discussion of improvements to criminal prosecution procedures, as well as the adoption of legal recommendations aimed at accelerating the work of the Public Prosecution.
