On Wednesday, 31 January 2024, Public Prosecutor Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'jab inspected the Public Prosecution office in Al-Ahsa Governorate and met with its members and staff. He stressed the importance of joint efforts and coordination between the Public Prosecution and judicial and security bodies to address criminal cases promptly, particularly cases of detainees, including verifying their entitled guarantees and rights through inspection tours of prisons and detention facilities. He also met with a number of reviewers, heard their criminal-case comments and requests, and directed that appropriate action be taken in accordance with the law.
