The Public Prosecutor, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Muajjab, chaired the annual periodic meeting of regional prosecution chiefs in Jazan, attended by assistant deputy public prosecutors and a number of prosecution leaders. In his opening remarks, he affirmed the justice system's continued support from the highest state leadership and highlighted the Public Prosecution's accelerating development, noting that the royal decree establishing the Public Prosecution Council represented a significant organizational advancement in institutional governance. He stressed the importance of coordination with relevant government bodies, timely case resolution, streamlining procedures for beneficiaries, and intensifying supervisory inspections of prisons and detention facilities, including reviewing detainee files and addressing their complaints. The meeting also covered performance results, case completion rates, and the adoption of regulatory recommendations to enhance prosecution efficiency across the Kingdom's regions.
