Under the Chairmanship of the Public Prosecutor, the Public Prosecution Council Approves a Package of Transformative and Developmental Decisions, and Adopts the Calculation of Promotion from the Date of Entitlement for Public Prosecution Members

Chaired by the Public Prosecutor Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, the Public Prosecution Council held its session on Tuesday, 16 June 2026, at the Public Prosecution's headquarters in Riyadh, approving a package of transformative and developmental decisions. These included approving the transfer of 606 Public Prosecution members, promotions and secondments, resignation rules, assignment/scholarship rules, and adopting the calculation of promotion from the date of entitlement to the same rank, as well as the distribution of members among regional and provincial prosecution circuits.
