The Public Prosecutor launches the electronic Adalah system

The Public Prosecutor, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'jab, launched the electronic "Adalah" platform, which unifies and speeds up procedures via electronic links with relevant entities, covers criminal governance in investigation, prosecution, and appeal of rulings, and enables oversight of criminal sentence enforcement and prisoner tracking, plus inspection of prisons and detention facilities via tablets. The platform also offers a smart investigation service with an interactive procedural guide, and uses artificial intelligence to fill fields and reduce error margins and processing time. Electronic prosecutorial governance began in 2017.
