Under the chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-Yousef, the Public Prosecution Council approves remote work, endorses appointments, and organizes the Rules of transfer, secondment, and assignment

Under the chairmanship of Public Prosecutor Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, the Public Prosecution Council held its meeting on Thursday 23-4-2026 and approved adopting remote work as an official work mode within the Public Prosecution. The Council also endorsed rules governing the transfer, secondment, and assignment of Public Prosecution members, approved secondments of several members to other prosecution offices, and appointed several members to the rank of "Investigator B." The Council additionally approved establishing an office within the financial fraud reporting and handling room to speed up response to such reports.
