The Public Prosecution organized a workshop entitled "Procedures for Handling Cases Related to Mental Health" on Wednesday, 11/10/2023, coinciding with World Mental Health Day. Specialists from the Ministry of Justice, the General Directorate of Prisons, and the Erada Mental Health Complex participated, aiming to raise awareness of mental health cases and review procedures related to violations of the Mental Health Law, apprehension and trial of accused persons in such cases, and treatment of detainees and prisoners with psychological disorders and their statutory guarantees.
