Public Prosecutor and Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Youssef has issued a decision approving an administrative authority matrix that delegates a number of administrative and financial powers to heads of Public Prosecution branches across the Kingdom's regions. The matrix covers administrative oversight, formation of committees, secondment of employees, approval of certain bonuses and leave, and procurement within approved financial limits. The delegation is valid until 30 September 2026, aiming to eliminate duplication, accelerate operational procedures, and enhance institutional governance across regional branches.
