Hajj / "Mawan" Implements Several Initiatives to Serve the Guests of the Most Merciful during the Hajj Season of 1445 AH

حج / "موان" ينفذ عدّة مبادرات لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن في موسم الحج لعام 1445هـ

The National Center for Waste Management (Mawan) continued its initiatives during the Hajj season of 1445 AH/2024, aiming to fully apply the Waste Management Law and its implementing regulation. During May, its oversight and inspection teams conducted inspection visits to 49 facilities operating in the waste management sector in the Makkah and Madinah regions to verify compliance with the law and its implementing regulation. CEO Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabai stated the center's goal was to raise awareness of environmentally friendly behavior and compliance with waste management controls.
