Mawan Launches the #GiveHerHerRight Campaign

The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) launched a campaign called "#GiveHerHerRight" to explain core waste-management concepts and raise awareness of the value chain for each waste type. The campaign identifies the main waste categories as municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste, industrial waste, healthcare waste, sludge (sewage) waste, agricultural waste, and special waste. The source notes MWAN was established by a Council of Ministers decision to regulate and oversee waste-management activities and stimulate investment in the sector.
