On 25 Sha'ban 1445 AH, corresponding to 06 March 2024, the National Center for Waste Management ("Mwan") organized a workshop titled "Discussing the Challenges of Implementing the Comprehensive Solution for Construction and Demolition Waste Management," attended by Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majid Al-Hogail and representatives of government sectors and relevant entities. CEO Dr. Abdullah Al-Sabai stated the workshop aimed to be a launching point for clarifying stakeholder roles and responsibilities and setting strategies for the sector, while Mwan addressed challenges facing waste collection and transport service providers and site allocation to raise compliance with the waste management system's executive regulations.
