The National Waste Management Center launches the "Reduce Waste Generation" campaign under the slogan (#Reduce - Repeat - Recycle)

المركز الوطني لإدارة النفايات يطلق حملة "تقليل إنتاج النفايات تحت شعار (#قلّل -كرّر- دوّر)"

The National Waste Management Center (Mwan) launched a waste reduction awareness campaign under the slogan "#Reduce-Repeat-Recycle," using interactive educational kiosks to teach visitors correct ways to save energy and reduce waste generation. The campaign ran in two periods: the first from December 29-30, 2022 in Riyadh, Najran, the Eastern Province, Al-Qassim, the Northern Borders, Hail, Tabuk and Al-Jouf; the second from January 5-6, 2023 in Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Madinah, Jazan, Abha and Al-Baha. The campaign targeted school students, individuals and families to spread awareness of the economic, environmental and social impacts of increased waste generation.
