The National Center for Waste Management (Mwan) organized a workshop with royal reserves development authorities titled "Sustainable Waste Management in Royal Reserves," introducing Mwan's mandate covering financial sustainability, the circular economy, digitization and data, legislation and guidance manuals, planning and development, licensing/permits and violations, and awareness and capacity building. The workshop also examined the current state of waste management in the royal reserves, future directions, and alignment with Mwan's programs and required next steps.
