HRH Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jouf Region, stressed the need for solutions to treat and recycle waste of all types except radioactive waste, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative's goal of raising the waste diversion rate from landfills. This came during his reception of the CEO of the National Center for Waste Management, Dr. Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Sabaie, and the COO of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), Eng. Khalid Al-Rashed, where the Center's strategic plans targeting an exclusion rate from landfills of about 94% by 2035 were presented, along with SIRC's investment plans and cooperation with municipalities, health affairs and universities.
